The North Greenville men’s soccer team heads into its final four games of the season with a lot of momentum having won three of its last 4 games, including conference wins over King, Mount Olive, and Belmont Abbey Colleges. The Crusaders improved to 4-5-1 on the season and 3-3 in Conference Carolinas play.
The Crusaders have moved up to 6th place in the league, and could move into the top 5 with a win and a Queens loss. In their last game, the Crusaders breezed past Belmont Abbey, 3-1 with two goals from Todd Johnston. It was NGU’s second win over the Crusaders in as many years.
The Crusaders return home Wednesday October 10, 2012 for a Conference Carolinas showdown with Pfeiffer University at 6pm in Tigerville. The Falcons are struggling this season with a 0-10-2 overall record and an 0-5 mark in conference play.
The Crusaders will take on Queens University on Saturday at 6pm in Tigerville. The Royals are a game ahead of the Crusaders in the Conference Carolinas Standings, and both will play the bottom two teams in the league before their showdown on Saturday evening.
