Head Coach Greg Mosely completed his second year at North Greenville and has posted a 35-35 record while at the helm of the NGU program.  The Crusaders finished with a 16-18 overall record and a 6-12 mark in their first year as a member of Conference Carolinas.

Under Mosely’s leadership the North Greenville Volleyball program continued to make strides in 2011.  An increased level of competition along with a continual emphasis placed on recruiting has NGU volleyball poised for new levels of achievement in the future.

Several team records and personal milestones were set during the 2011 season.  Senior Kaitlyn Harris broke the 1000 career dig mark as she lead the team with 515 digs for the season.  Senior Kaitlyn Pierce set a new NGU mark with 1047 career kills and 248 career blocks.  Junior Abby Frame continues her assault on all assist records at NGU; she currently holds the single season record, 1205 and the career record, 2383 respectively.  Freshmen Kendra Meek set a new mark for single season Aces at 52.

Pierce became the first NGU athlete to be recognized as a Conference Carolinas All Conference selection, she was also named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week, November 8.  Harris was named to the Conference Carolinas All-Academic team for maintaining a GPA over 3.4.

Expectations are high for the NGU program.  A strenuous off season training regimen and a solid recruiting class has fans of NGU volleyball optimistic about the future.

Mosely is a 1983 graduate of Liberty University.  He also holds a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from the United States Sports Academy.

Greg has been married to Teresa Bradley Mosely for 31 years.  They have one daughter, Amber (NGU “05”) who is married to Clay Wiles (NGU “05”).  He has two grandchildren, Kyley and Clay Jr.
